Privacy policy

Short, because we collect almost nothing. Last updated July 6, 2026.

What we collect

No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no cookies set by us, no user accounts, no newsletter, no comment system. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type never leave your device, are not transmitted to us, and vanish when you close the tab.

What moves anyway, and why

Three data flows exist because of how the web works, not because we want your data:

  • Server logs. Like virtually every website, the server that hosts these pages records standard access logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. They are kept briefly, reviewed only when something breaks or is attacked, and never used for profiling.
  • Web fonts. Pages load the Lexend Tera and Spline Sans typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests font files from Google’s servers, which sees your IP address as part of that request, as described in Google’s own privacy documentation. If you block third-party fonts, the site falls back to system fonts and works fine.
  • Email. If you write to [email protected], we receive what you send and use it to reply. We do not add you to lists, and we delete correspondence when it stops being useful.

Links to other sites

Guides link to external sites, including Binance registration pages that carry our referral code (see the affiliate disclosure). Once you leave this site, the destination’s privacy policy governs. Binance’s data practices, including everything involved in identity verification, are theirs, documented on their site, and outside our control.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws you have rights over personal data a site holds about you. Our honest position: apart from transient server logs and any email you chose to send, we hold none. If you believe otherwise or want correspondence deleted, email [email protected] and it will be done without ceremony.

Changes

If the practices above ever change, adding analytics for instance, this page will say so plainly, with a new date at the top, and the change will be noted in the corrections log.
